The SUMO Hash House Harriers

We are a fun run social club based on the old British game Hares and Hounds (or Paper Chase).  Our runs are marked with various symbols of flour and chalk to guide the pack to the On-Home.  Normal trails are 4-6 miles in length, with the hope that most runners will finish in about an hour, walkers in 90 minutes.  The Sumo hash will gather on Sunday afternoon at 2 PM at the start location, based on our schedule (see upcoming events).

The Sumo H3 was founded on 6 January 2002 by Ed "Hazukashii" Howell with the first run starting at Hakonegasaki.  There were 24 hashers from all over Tokyo on hand to get another hash club up and running. Run #50 was on 7 September 2003 and returned to the original run site at Hakonegasaki.
